The Way We Work Summit 2016

Thursday 23rd June 2016, QEII Centre, London SW1P 3EE

Public Sector Connect are proud to announce that we are, once again, working in partnership with the Cabinet Office to present The Way We Work Summit.

Building upon the success of the 2015 summit and on the increased interest in 'smarter working' so evident across all areas of the public sector we plan to expand the day's programme and to attract an even greater pan-public service audience.

Therefore the agenda will explore the following subject areas:-

- Public sector change programmes have never been more transformative, involving new visions of what workspaces should look like. How should these workspaces function, where should they be located and who should occupy them?

- Technology is playing an increasingly important role in how public services are being delivered, underpinning almost all aspects of the transformation process. Whilst the pace of development of IT hardware and software is exponential, cost and cyber security concerns are central to how and where they can be used best. What is new, available and feasible for public sector use?

- A mobile workforce, able to work where and when business needs dictate is a crucial element in the evolution of work and mobile technologies are and will increasingly be, key factors in this evolutionary process. Furthermore, what are the challenges of managing a fully mobile, location independent workforce?

- In what has often been described as 'a new world of work' new and enhanced skills are sure to be needed. In a time of budgetary constraints how can these training needs be met?

We look forward to welcoming you to what promises to be a lively, informative and interesting day, giving you new ideas and fresh enthusiasm to re-energise your existing programmes.
